The Kidney Transfer
Nothing much was expected of Lawrenny this season, not at the start at least.

Some of their star players were getting on a bit while their younger players were trying to establish themselves making them a team in transition.
A mid-table finish would have been a success while few would have had them down to make an appearance at this year's Harrison-Allen.
They have proved people wrong.
A couple of weeks into the season Brad McDermott-Jenkins stepped down from being captain handing over the reins to Joe Kidney. I'm not sure of the reasons for this but it immediately paid dividends.
Jenkins produced a starring role with the ball against Neyland leading to an unlikely win against the then division one leaders which led to them beating Cresselly and Haverfordwest in the weeks to follow.
Because of their Giant Killing feats they have completely messed up any predictions for who will win this year's league title; thrown it wide open meaning none of the above teams can rest on their laurels as the season draws to a close.
And now they are making their first appearance in the Harry-Allen since 2001. Like their opponents this year, their opponents then were Cresselly.
Lawrenny won it back then in as tense a finish as you're ever likely to see leading to incredible scenes at the end. They were the underdogs for that game but will they be now?
Cresselly have the stars but Lawrenny perhaps have the more rounded team not to mention an unbreakable team spirit and as this season shows, a scant regard for reputation.
It promises to be a cracker
Form counts for a lot in cricket but of course things can change.
Take Whitland seconds for example. One week their are all out for 41 (after chasing over 300) the next they score over 300 and end up losing by eight wickets against their counterparts from Cresselly.
Jack Bowen produces the innings of his life, smashes the ball around the park to score 198 (only to be caught on the boundary going for his 200) and then has to chase leather himself as veteran batsman Neal Williams scores a century before retiring hurt to help his team across the line.
Suffice to say both make it into the team of the week:
- Jack Bowen (Whitland 2nds) 198 v Cresselly 2nds
- Neal Williams (Cresselly 2nds) 139 rtd hurt v Whitland 2nds
- Tom Mansbridge (Saundersfoot) 116 & 2-10 v Pembroke
- Steve Lewis (Lawrenny 2nds) 116 not out v Llechryd 2nds
- Karl Davies (llanrhian 2nds) 105 not out v Burton 2nd
- Richard Reed (Llanrhian) 94 v Haverfordest 3rds
- Josh Davies (Stackpole) 92 v Haverfordwest 2nds
- Andrew Evans (Kilgetty 2nds) 90 v Haverfordwest 4ths
- Paul Nicholas (Herbrandston) 5-19 v Narberth 2nds
- Daniel Flynn (St Ishmaels) 5-36 v Kilgetty
- Sam Harts (Cresselly) 4-23 v Johnston
